One of the biggest problems in A/E firms is their lack of CAD Standards! ACM will instantly set layering, colors, plotting, and symbol standards on every drawing for every project. This will improve quality of your documents. Of course, you can customize most aspects of ACM.   You can use ACM to complement your existing menu system.

ACM can be used with existing menu systems because it has many useful and highly efficient tools for production efficiency.

Does ACM have all the features of the high priced packages such as by Autodesk, or others - absolutely not! These packages take 64MB of memory and high powered computers to run effectively and cost thousands per computer. These packages also take an extensive time consuming learning curve and high intelligence when things go wrong. ACM is powerful yet affordable, and can run fast on any computer runs AutoCAD 14-2008 and can be learned in less than one day!

What It Does

ACM draws the following systems fast:

• Architectural walls, doors, windows, room names, sheet titles, detail titles, notes etc.
  

• HVAC single and double line ductwork, diffusers, VAV boxes, dampers (all kinds), flex duct, RTU, AHU, heating coils, and all other symbols used in HVAC drawings. All symbols are in strict accordance with ASHRAE standards.
  

• Electrical receptacles, lighting fixtures (all kinds), fire alarm symbols, data and communication symbols, circuiting tools, and much more all in accordance with NEC and ANSI standards.
  

• Plumbing fixtures, piping (water, waste, storm, gas, etc.) with appropriate line types, floor drains and everything else needed to produce plumbing drawings in accordance with ANSI and ASPE standards.
  

• Fire protection sprinkler grids (really fast!), piping, and all symbols in accordance with NFPA 13 standards.

Of course, you may easily customize any symbol to meet your office standards. In addition, if you already are using a menu system, ACM can be used in conjunction because we guarantee your menu system does not have all the time saving features of ACM.
